The plug valve is a valve with a through hole as the opening and closing part. The plug body rotates with the stem to achieve the opening and closing action. Because of the movement between the seal surface of the plug valve with wiping effect, and when fully open to prevent the contact with the flow of media, it is often used in the media with suspended particles. Another important feature of the plug valve is that it is easy to adapt to a multi-channel structure, so that one valve can have two, three, or even four different flow paths.

Its working pressure can reach 64 MPA, the maximum working temperature can reach 325 ℃, the maximum caliber can reach 600 millimeters. Plug valve channels are available in many forms. The common straight-through type is mainly used for truncation of fluids. Tee and four-formula plug valves are suitable for fluid commutation.
